WHEN and WHO is Eligible for a Third Dose or Booster

Third Dose

Pfizer & Moderna Booster

Johnson & Johnson Booster

  • Given 28 days after second dose

  • Only Moderna and Pfizer vaccine recipients

  • People with weaken immune system

    • Cancer​

    • Organ or Tissue Transplant

    • Auto Immune Deficiency

  • Can get it at least six months after second dose

  • Adults 65+

  • Patients in long-term care facilities

  • Adults 18+ who have underlying health conditions

  • Adults 18+ who work or live-in high-risk settings

  • Can get it two months after first shot

  • Anyone who received Johnson & Johnson shot is eligible for a booster.
